Hybrid Modular Construction combines the efficiency of flat-packed panel manufacturing with the speed of volumetric modular installation. Instead of shipping large finished modules long distances, Carve ships compact, flat-packed timber or light gauge steel panel kits to a regional assembly facility located near the project site.
At the regional facility, panel kits are assembled into complete three-dimensional building modules, fitted with interior finishes, MEP rough-in, and other components, then transported the short remaining distance to the project for crane installation.
The result is a delivery model that captures many of the schedule and quality advantages of full modular construction while reducing long-haul transportation costs and constraints. Best suited for hotels, workforce housing, student housing, remote housing, and projects built from standardized, repeatable small units.
